The other was moved downstairs next to me.

Macboy and Mc MikeG weren’t affected, thankfully, beyond losing me to do some of the complicated crap that I used to take care of on a daily basis.

The ponytailed wonderboy who used to be in advertising came over to the dark side a couple of years ago and I think they have a good chance of making this less of a total assfuck for all of them if they all hit the ground running.

They’re a great bunch of guys and I already miss seeing them everyday. Calling to “talk” doesn’t cut it and truthfully, I think it makes everyone uncomfy.

As for the well wishes, well, I appreciate them, but you are right. They aren’t doing me much good. Everyone is crawling up my ass to offer help but the fact is that unless you got an IT position in your hand, I don’t need much right now.

I mean, this is a relocation type problem. Something that I had always talked about wanting, but now the option is less an option and more a forced decision.

Ask anyone, I hate not having the final say in what I do.

So yeah. This sucks.

Oh yeah, and as far as not knowing who I am? Well, sauce for the goose, I have no idea who you are.

Yipes.  I’m sorry to hear that too.  If it’s any consolation, I’ve been “between contracts” for two weeks now.  And the Bramble-meister has been forlorn since the 28th.  I’ve got a huge list of IT recruiters if you want it (including several good ones).
